Hoda Kotb, 53, has been getting great viewer response since she took over Matt Lauer‘s, 59, position on the Today show on a moment’s notice on Nov. 29. Ratings have shot up to from 4.2 million viewers on Tuesday, Nov. 28, to 5.7 million viewers the following day, via ABC News, when Lauer was fired, and the trend has held with Hoda teaming up with Savannah Guthrie, 45, to lead the long-running daytime show. After all, Hoda has anchored the show’s 4th hour for 10 years, so she’s a familiar face! Now her name is reportedly at the top of the list of potential full-time replacements for Lauer. Also, in the running, according to media reports, are Anderson Cooper, 50, and Megyn Kelly, 47.
