NEW YORK, January 11, 2018 — Last year, for the first time in its 30-year history, the annual gathering of APEC concluded without a joint communiqué, an indication of how trade tensions between China and the U.S. have infected the rest of the region. In a roundtable discussion moderated by Asia Society Policy Institute Vice President Wendy Cutler, business leaders and government officials from APEC countries assess the outlook for this year's summit and the risks of the ongoing U.S.-China conflict.
